Nearly 50 flights receive bomb threats on Tue; around INR 600 cr loss likely for airlines in 9 days

Indian Airlines: In less than 24 hours, around 80 flights faced bomb threats, causing significant disruptions. Although these threats were hoaxes, they led to an estimated loss of INR 600 crore for airlines. Authorities are considering stricter laws and penalties to deal with such threats more effectively, including placing perpetrators on the no-fly list.
